Six Vics realise AFL dream through SSP
The AFL's Supplementary Selection Period (SSP) has concluded, with nine Victorians finding list spots including six players making it onto AFL club lists for the first time.
Victorians Tyler Brown (Collingwood to Adelaide), Liam Shiels (Hawthorn to North Melbourne) and Liam Stocker (Carlton to St Kilda) will continue their AFL careers, which is fantastic for those players.
Meanwhile, the following players had their dreams realised by being selected by AFL clubs. All have come through Victorian community football in some way, which is a credit to these players for their perseverance and hard work and also the local clubs, coaches, volunteers and local footy teammates who have played a part in the journeys of each.
