The Preston Bullants Amateur Football Club (PBAFC) is associated with the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) seeking the coaches to work with two time VAFA Coach of the year George Wakim.
With exceptional depth in the club the Division 1 PBAFC been extremely competitive and is expecting a big year in 2019
PBAFC is an inclusive and diverse club that is home to 3 men’s teams and 1 women’s team and has a strong one club philosophy.
The Club is seeking several Assistant Coaches in a playing or none-playing role that:
- Has effective verbal communication,
- Has demonstrated organizational skills
- Has a good understanding of game day strategies and tactics.
PBAFC also requires A Senior Assistant to our Womens Coach with the same qualities as above. Our women’s team played off in the Grand Final in it’s first season in 2018.
It is desirable that the applicant has Level 1 AFL coaching accreditation or willingness to obtain one. The club is happy to fund a Level 1 accreditation for the successful applicant.
The Assistant Coaches role involves supporting planning and execution of training and input into team selection. Game day responsibilities include line management, rotation management, game plan execution, providing input to the Senior and providing feedback to the players.
Commitment required training once a week between February and August and play Saturday matches between April and August.
