Update: Community football in Regional Victoria

Community club football, training and Auskick is not permitted to take place in Victoria over the weekend of 21/22 August
AFL Victoria has been advised by the Victorian Government that community sport is not permitted across the state from midnight tonight and over the weekend of 21/22 August, because of the COVID pandemic.
This means all community club football competitions, training and Auskick in regional Victoria are not to take place this weekend.
We understand this creates significant challenges for community football in regional Victoria and is really disappointing. We will continue to be guided by the Victorian Government with the health and safety of the community the priority.
We will provide further updates when any new information is made available.
