The St Kilda AFL Blind team has claimed the 2021 Energy Safe Victorian Blind Football League premiership after a dominant undefeated season concluded with a 64-point win against the Bulldogs at Action Indoor Sports Centre, Tullamarine.

There was a lot of excitement around the final game of the season after a COVID interrupted season which resumed in mid-November.

Coming into the game as hot favourites, the Saints showed their class and in the end were too strong for the Bulldogs running away with the victory 17.33 (135) to 11.5 (71).

The Saints finished their 2021 campaign with 11 consecutive wins, made all the more impressive considering they finished the condensed 2020 VBFL Season without a win to their name.

Young midfielder Oscar Stubbs was a standout for the Premiers and was awarded the 2021 Best & Fairest award off the back of his strong campaign.

Final Score:

ST KILDA 5.13 9.24 13.31 17.33 (135)

BULLDOGS 1.5 5.5 7.5 11.5 (71)
