Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) is seeking nominations to find canteen hero’s in the football community. If you know of a Canteen Hero, nominate them for a chance to win $1,000 toward your club canteen. Applications open September 7 and close September 20.
Behind every pie and deep fryer, there is a dedicated canteen worker or volunteer keeping the beverages cold, and the pies piping hot.
To show your appreciation for their work, ESV is asking you to nominate your Canteen Hero.
All you will have to do is tell us about the great work they do for a chance to win $1,000 toward your club canteen to replace old or ageing gas or electrical appliances, or for the purchase of gas or electrical appliances that are energy efficient or promote healthy eating.
They say not all heroes were capes – in this case, they wear aprons.
