Droughts broken in local footy grand finals

White Hills celebrates after winning its first senior premiership in 36 years when it defeated Leitchville Gunbower in the 2024 Heathcote District FNL Grand Final on Saturday 7 September at Huntly

With 2024 local footy finals taking place all over the state over the course of the weekend just gone, many leagues conducted Grand Finals from Bendigo to Portland and Wangaratta to Warrnambool, with a couple of major premiership droughts broken. 


Below is a summary of Grand Final match ups and premierships won from the top divisions of men's and women's football leagues in regional Victoria from Friday 6 September and Saturday 7 September.
