Herald Sun Shield Division One Girls Grand Finals & Boys Semi-Finals this week
The winners of the 2022 Herald Sun Shield Division One Girls Senior and Intermediate competitions will be crowned this week with Grand Finals to be played at ETU Stadium, Port Melbourne on Thursday July 28.
It’s a big week for the 44th edition of the Herald Sun Shield, with Boys Division One Semi-Finals taking place this Wednesday July 27.

On Thursday in the Girls Division One Intermediate Grand Final, Ballarat Clarendon College will take on Clonard College Geelong at 11:45am at ETU Stadium, Port Melbourne after both schools had big wins in their semi-finals last week.
The Girls Division One Senior Grand Final will follow at the same venue at 2:00pm and feature Caulfield Grammar and Rowville Secondary College, after both schools won close semi-finals. Results can be viewed here.
In Boys Division One, matches will be played this Wednesday at Highgate Recreation Reserve, Craigieburn and Williamstown Football Ground. Parade College and Brighton Grammar will kick off the action in the first Intermediate Boys Semi-Final at 10am at Williamstown, with that venue to then host the first Senior Boys Semi-Final between Whitefriars and Christian College Geelong at midday.
At Craigieburn, the second Intermediate Boys Semi-Final between Marcellin College and St Patrick’s College Ballarat will be played at 12:00pm, followed by the second Senior Boys Semi-Final which will also feature St Patrick’s, who will take on Emmanuel College Warrnambool at 2:00pm.
The Boys Division One Grand Finals will be played next week at Box Hill City Oval on Tuesday August 2 (Senior) and Wednesday August 3 (Intermediate).
Division Two Boys and Girls matches will commence in mid-August. More information including the schedule can be found here.
