We are calling all amateur photographers to share your best photos of community football for a chance to shoot with award-winning AFL chief photographer, Michael Willson.

Do you fancy your skills behind the camera? Then show us!

In 2019, Footy Focus saw nearly 6000 applicants submit images of grassroots football, and in 2021 we are bringing Footy Focus back and trying to top this number!

We are looking for images that capture the essence of Australian football from a grassroots level.

To enter, simply share your best community footy photos taken during 2021 on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter by tagging #FootyFocus21. You can also upload your photo to http://www.footyfocus21.afl.

The top 50 images will be showcased on AFL.com.au and the overall winner will get the chance to shadow AFL chief photographer, Michael Willson, for a day of shooting in Round 23 AFL action.

The competition runs until Monday, August 9 – after AFL round 21. The winner will be announced on Thursday, August 12, and they’ll join Michael Willson for an AFL game in round 23 (August 20-22).
