We have a proud history in the Northern Rivers, and having built a strong foundation in 2018 with Will Alexander as coach, we are proud to advise that he has been accepted for a role with the Gold Coast Suns Academy. The door is now open for fresh new eyes and blood to coach our men’s reserves in 2019.

The 2018 season saw the opening of our new $3 million headquarters at Oakes Oval in Lismore, which set a new benchmark for the competition in terms of facility professionalism.

We were also one of a few venues in the entire country to have been awarded the JLT Pre-season game for 2019, with the Sydney Swans playing the Gold Coast Suns at Oakes Oval, March 10.

We are seeking a passionate head coach with experience developing footballers who have a desire to play at the highest level in a growing football club. We require applicants to have been actively coaching in the past five years within appropriate competitions within the national football landscape. A Level 1 coaching accreditation is required, and level 2 desirable.

You will also be working alongside the Men’s Head Coach Joey Mitchell, and you will both empower each other with your experience and dedication.
