NAB AFL Auskick is the AFL’s key introductory program for primary-aged children and their families.
The NAB AFL Auskick program makes learning to play AFL fun, safe and easy for boys and girls, aged 5 -12. Through weekly coaching sessions they will learn the skills of the game in an exciting, social and safe environment. The NAB AFL Auskick program has centres that operate all over Victoria.
Throughout the State of Victoria there are Koorie Auskick Centres in various regions that cater to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander boys, girls and their families. The program is designed to assist young children in the area in learning about Australian Football the basic skills associated with the game in a fun and friendly environment.
The program seeks to provide a culturally safe environment where children can experience personal achievement in terms of competence, enhanced self-esteem, social co-operation, maximum participation and basic skill development.
