Well over 100 of the state’s best footballers from AFL Victoria’s talent competitions have been invited to attend combines in October ahead of the 2018 NAB AFL Women’s Draft and AFL Draft.
90 TAC Cup players, 14 Peter Jackson VFL players and 18 Swisse Wellness VFL Women’s players (16 of which have graduated from TAC Cup Girls lists) recently scored invites to either the AFL Draft Combine or AFL Women’s Draft Combine at a national level or the state-based Victorian State Combine or Rookie Me Combine (both for males only).
Community footballers Frank Anderson (South Croydon) and Matt Neagle (Wodonga Raiders) will also attend the Victorian State Combine and Rookie Me Combine respectively.
All combines will assess the physical capabilities of attendees in a range of tests in front of AFL or AFL Women’s club recruiters.
