The AFL is closely monitoring the situation with respect to COVID-19 and it is important that any information you receive with respect to COVID-19 or any other infectious illness comes from a reputable source. The AFL is regularly consulting with the Australian Government, the World Health Organisation and the AFL’s Chief Medical Officers on the best advice for our football community.

The health and safety of participants, players, umpires and volunteers underpin our ability to conduct matches and sessions that are so loved by our communities, supporters and members.

Please read the AFL update regarding community matches for the weekend of 14 and 15 March 2020 here.

Given COVID-19 remains a situation with the potential to change rapidly, the AFL will continue to work with relevant authorities and will update the football communities as new information comes to hand.
