AFL Victoria offers Cultural Education workshops for all Community Clubs with the aim to help clubs understand different cultural backgrounds and barriers to participation for Multicultural groups.
The session explores different demographic groups and discusses opportunities for clubs to become more accessible and inclusive of new participants.
Club representatives will hear about how other local Community Clubs have been able to successfully implement strategies which have helped increase participation and engagement with Multicultural communities and families.
At the end of the presentation, Clubs will walk away with their own Club strategies, through a Vision Tracker, with the aim to implement these ideas throughout the football season.
These sessions, run by AFL Victoria, are completely FREE and very informative.
