One of representative footballs biggest events kicks off this Saturday, 13 July at IKON Park.
The Brian Molony Cup returns and promises to deliver another exciting game of football between two great rivals.
AFL Victoria Country (formerly VCFL) and the VAFA have been playing representative football against one another since 1993 with the games being extremely competitive with close results and almost even wins.
Since 1993, AFL Victoria Country has taken the title seven times, while the VAFA is currently at six wins. Going on these results, there is no doubt this weekends game will be a close one.
The Brian Molony Cup provides a great opportunity not only for players, but also for umpires, coaches, administrators and medical staff to get involved in an elite experience over the course of the senior representative program.
With players for both sides confirmed, the match is certainly set to be a thriller.
Congratulations to all players and umpires selected in the final squads.
