The Port Melbourne Football Club is seeking a Team Manager for our inaugural Women’s Football Team that will compete in the South East Women’s Football League (SEFNL).
This is an exciting opportunity for those with team management, sporting experience or those looking to gain experience in this key role. The role ensures the successful management of the team and welfare of the athletes at training and on match days.
The role will require working closely with the PMFC Football Manager to ensure the teams operational & logistical elements are effectively coordinated.
The Team Manager will also be working closely with the playing group, coaching and support staff on training nights and match days to ensure the smooth operation of these activities.
You will be required to commit to our Saturday match days throughout the season as well as 1 training session a week (Tuesday or Thursday). The season is a 14 round competition commencing May 5 with a bye on May 19 due to a Representative match. The team will be training on Tuesdays at North Port Oval & Thursdays at JL Murphys Reserve throughout the season.
You will possess a positive & approachable nature with strong communication skills to form strong working relationships as well as being highly organised & be proficient with IT to enter match results.
A Remuneration figure will be provided to the successful candidate.
