The Port Melbourne Football Club is seeking a Physio for our inaugural Women’s Football Team that will compete in the South East Women’s Football League (SEFNL).

This is an exciting opportunity for those with Physio experience and/or those Physios looking to gain experience working with athletes in this key role. The role ensures the successful management of athletes sports & musculoskeletal injuries and the rehab of injuries. You will work closely with the Strength & Conditioning Coach with the rehabbing of athlete injuries. Another key contact is the Head Trainer who you will work closely with in terms of strapping & massage.

You will be required to commit to our match days throughout the season as well as 1-2 training sessions a week (Tuesday/Thursday). The season is a 14 round competition commencing May 5 with a bye on May 19 due to a Representative match. The team will be training on Tuesdays at North Port Oval & Thursdays at JL Murphys Reserve/North Port Oval throughout the season.

You will possess a positive & approachable nature with strong communication skills to form strong working relationships as well as being highly organised. This position offers a great opportunity to work in an elite football club and tie in with our VFL Physios.

A Remuneration figure will be provided to the successful candidate.
