AFL Victoria conducts Level 1 Coaching Courses for primary and secondary school teachers. There are three courses available please click on the link below for further information:

• Junior Course - Prep to Year 8
• Youth Course - Year 9 -12
• Junior Dual Recognition (Cricket/Football) - Prep to Year 8 (Female Teachers only)

G Footy Coaches Seminar

AFL Victoria is conducting its eigth annual 'G Footy' coaches' seminar at the MCG, which is open to all secondary school football coaches and aims to educate school football coaches in the areas of skill development, team play and team development.

Some of the topics presented in the past include forward line play, recovery strategies, team rules and training drills, decision making drills, and defensive play.

This year the seminar will involve both practical and theory component presented by coaches with experience in AFL, VFL and the TAC Cup competition and is free to all school coaches.
