AFL Victoria is encouraging all NAB AFL Auskick participants to share the joy of kicking around a Sherrin with a mate this month, in the AFL’s Bring a Friend Week campaign from May 15-21.

With more than 42,000 children pulling on the boots in NAB AFL Auskick centres across Victoria last year, the Bring a Friend Week initiative encourages participants to have fun with their friends and provide an opportunity for new players to give Australian football a go.

Registered 2017 NAB AFL Auskick participants who bring a friend along to an Auskick clinic will earn their local Auskick Centre a $20 rebate when a new child signs up for the 2017 season between May 15-26.

In addition the new participant will receive a $10 discount on their registration fee.

Now in its 22nd year, the NAB AFL Auskick program continues to provide boys and girls aged 5-12 across Australia with a fun and safe Australian Football experience that serves as an introduction to a lifetime of involvement in the game.

Through weekly coaching sessions, children will learn the fundamental motor skills vital for future physical activity and sport participation as well as learning how to interact with other children as part of a team in small group activities.

The NAB AFL Auskick program also provides a great opportunity for parents to interact with their kids through the activities, have the opportunity to make new friends, learn about the game and spend quality time with their children.
