HEATHCOTE DISTRICT FOOTBALL LEAGUE
The Lockington-Bamawm United FNC will be celebrating their 100th year this weekend in Round 9 of the HDFNL in their game against Leitchville-Gunbower on Sunday 11th June. The weekend will see the Clubrooms open on Saturday afternoon for a casual get together with old team mates, friends and family, collect your own reunion collectables and bring along your own memorabilia to show off to everyone. SOUTH METRO JUNIORS
A touring party of East Malvern Knights juniors will travel to Far North Queensland this weekend to meet and play a game of football against the club’s Indigenous colleagues at Cape York.
The club say the purpose of the trip is for their juniors to gain a better understanding and appreciation of the Indigenous culture and spend time with the Cape York boys, with Saturday’s match the highlight of the three-day trip. READ MORE…
